RIM cooperates with Samsung to truss up the Email function with the cell-phone

　　Research In Motion (RIM) company cooperates with Samsung, delivers the wireless function of the E-mail and fix on the cell-phone, in order to attract the interest of the wireless service providers and push to sale their products.

　　RIM company announced on Thursday, they plan to use its BlackBerry wireless service on Samsung's cell-phone. The first step of this plan is to use the server software of RIM on Samsung's cell-phone and put out the wireless access services of the public network and data including E-mail. The BlackBerry wireless service on Samsung's cell-phone can provide flexibility to service providers and customer in order to satisfying different the performance parameter and demands of products.

　　Through using its BlackBerry service on Samsung's cell-phone, RIM company has improved the common ability of the equipment. Not clear now how many Samsung's cell-phones will be used and should be served. Two companies hope to gain the favor of the wireless service providers too, these service providers have been seeking such as the E-mail and remote wireless function of surfing the Net etc all the time in order to distinguish their service and development wireless datum network of future generation.

　　As a part of the agreement, Samsung has already agreed to use BlackBerry of RIM. But the further cooperative detail was not announced. Symbian, Microsoft and PalmSource company plan to install BlackBerry of RIM on their equipments too.

CSG and IBM consolidate the business in China through Beijing Telecom

　　Global billing and customer service solution supplier CSG Systems (Nasdaq trade code: CSGS) announced with IBM today, Beijing telecommunications company (Beijing Telecom) has disposed CSGs Kenan(R)/BP billing platform and CSG(R) Data Mediation (data regulation) solution successfully for supporting all its users' voice and data processing. IBM and CSG finished the first stage execution work of this kind of billing platform within 18 weeks.

　　Beijing Telecom is a telecom services supplier. It is a member of the biggest telecommunications service supplier of China --China Telecom's group company (China Telecom). The solution about billing and network data regulate of CSG will help Beijing Telecom to perfect the customer service, improve profit ability.

　　IBM and CSG Systems jointly carry out Kenan/BP and CSG Data Mediation on IBM AIX platform (UNIX (R) operating system of IBM). This measure aims at utilizing higher security, live load management, system management and Java(TM) software to upgrade the function and support the e-business and application of Internet.
