In order to cut down the expenses and gets rid of bankrupt MCI will cut down 4000 people

　　Telecommunication Company MCI announced on last Friday (March 26), will cut down pressure and the influence of "Do Not Call" register in the whole country of U.S.A., it will close 3 call centers and cut down 4000 people, will account for this more than 7% of staff's total amount of companies.

　　MCI has been announced in January of this year, it has been expected to cut down expenses 15% to 20%, but there is no concrete question that talk about the need of reducing the staff.

　　Three call centers closed lie in Denver, Phoenix and Niles city of Ohio separately.

The layoffs will have come into force since May of this year and June. MCI officer claimed MCI manages 15 telemarketing and customer service center also in all parts of U.S.A.

　　MCI has planned to reduce the expenses of year by 15% to 20% in going bankrupt, and the income from sales expected in 2004 will reduce by 10% to 12%, including drop by 25% in the income of long-distance call market in U.S.A. MCI officer expressed that the main reason of income drop is the growth of cell-phone users, competition and the influence of the law "Do Not Call".
