ZTE win the bidding of next generation network of Indonesia

  In the just finished bidding of Indonesia NGN-DLC next generation network, ZTE has succeeded in the severe competition of nine manufactures with its brand-new network construction thought and super product performance, and becomes the provider of principal equipments for this project.

  By implementing this project, ZTE will provide ZXA10-MSAN new generation of comprehensive broad and narrow band access system to the biggest telecom operator of Indonesia TELKOM, helping it construct the next generation access network in the capital Jakarta. The finished network will provide integrated businesses of broadband and narrow band, including POTs, ISDN, ADSL, SHDSL, HDSL so as to fully enhance the service providing ability of Indonesian access equipments.

Cisco System Co. will purchase Actona Technologies

  Recently, Cisco System Co., announces it has reached the final agreement on the purchase of Actona Technologies. Actona is a developer of wide area file service software. Its software can make convenient data management for geographically disperse enterprise branches. According to the term of the agreement, Cisco will purchase all the publicly sold shares of Actona with USD $ 8200, and will transfer the unrealized Actona option into Cisco option. This purchase action will end primarily by the first season of 2005 fiscal year of Cisco.
