Concerto gained the Market leader award of outbound call as granted
by Frost & Sullivan
On August 26 of 2004, Frost & Sullivan granted the market leader
award of outbound call to Concerto Software, the world famous interactive
customer management solutions provider, which has made great achievements
in the Indian market of outbound call.
The market leader award as granted by Frost & Sullivan is an important
annual award which is usually granted to the company with the largest
market share in a certain field. In recent years, the market share of
call center in India has been growing very fast, with the annual growth
rate of call center reaching 19.5%. According to the investigations made
by Frost & Sullivan, Concerto has a market share of 66.7% in India
for outbound calls, much higher than that of its competitors. Winning
this award means that Concerto is not only the leader in the mature outbound
call center market, but also a leader in the emerging outbound call center
market.
In the past two years, Concerto implemented a series of merging plans
and invested a large sum of capital for technical innovations. The sales
income of the company in the second quarter of 2004 has increased by 52%
than that in the same term of the last years and 10% than the first quarter
of 2004. Up until now, the sales income has been increasing consecutively
and stably for five quarters.
VoIP and security concerns stimulates the growth of the market share
of enterprise routers
According to the report by Infonetics, the global market share of enterprise
routers in the first quarter of the year has increased by 8% than that
in the fourth quarter of the last year, while the market share in the
second quarter of the year decreased by 10% than the first quarter of
the year. It is anticipated that the annual income in 2007 may increase
to 4 billion USD, equal to that in 2003.
Junk mails accounts for 38% of the E-mails in North America in 2004
According to the report made by IDC, the number of junk mails is growing
continuously, which will affect the effectiveness and availability of
E-mails.
IDC says that in 2004, the junk mails accounts for 38% of the total
31 billion E-mails sent by people every day in North America, while in
2002, the percentage is 24%.
