SONY Hong Kong choosing PacificNet to provide CRM and e-business
solutions
PacificNet (Nasdaq: PACT) announced recently that it has
signed a contract with Sony Corporation of Hong Kong to provide CRM and
e-business solutions for platform So-net of Sony VAS in Asia. PacificNet's
CRM and e-business system includes customer registration, management,
charging and payment system, through which the customer can purchase products
through So-net and make payment with the credit card or through the online
payment system of SONY.
IBM signing contract (valued 100 million USD) with Lloyds
TSB
IBM announced on Monday that it has signed a contract valued 969.2 million
USD with Lloyds TSB to provide VoIP telephone and data service.
As the largest computer company in the world, IBM pointed out in a declaration
that this is one of the largest contracts in Europe which involves 70,000
VoIP telephones and will greatly reduce the network-related cost of Lloyds
TSB.
VoIP is a technique used to provide telephone service on the standardized
net. It reduces the need for install and maintain two independent networks
(one for voice communication and another for data communication).
HOLLYCRM among the top 500 high-growth high-tech companies
in Asia-pacific region
On Dec. 9 of 2004, Deloitte held a grand ceremony of prize
presenting at GRAND HYATT HONG KONG. On the ceremony it publicize the
name of the top 500 hi-tech hi-growth in the Asia-pacific region. HOLLYCRM
was among the top 500 with high growth rate and good earning performance.
It is known that the prize is presented by Deloitte, one of the four biggest
accounting companies in the world. It has been held for three times in
this region this year. The result is made by Deloitte according to the
growth rate of the business income of these hi-tech companies in the past
three fiscal years. Many countries participated in this activity, including
Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia,
Philippine, New Zealand, Singapore and South Korea. The activity is aimed
to honor and encourage the top 500 hi-tech companies of highest growth
rate in business income in the Asia-pacific region, Europe, Mid East,
Africa and America, and recognize the contribution they made to the world
economy.
