ZTE gaining the biggest IPTV projects in India, with a value of over 20 million USD

  Recently, ZTE signed a contract valued over 20 million USD with Atlas Interactive Pvt Ltd, the largest IPTV operator in India for the construction of broadband IPTV network. It will be the first and the biggest broadband IPTV network in India.

  ZTE entered into Indian market in 2001. In July of 2002, it won the bid for constructing the backbone transmission network of India and providing network equipment for the DWDM backbone network which covers 40 states of India. In the same year, ZTE signed a contract in Bangalore with BSNL, the biggest state-owned operator of India, to provide integrated solutions for the nationwide CDMA WLL network. It is the first large-scale application of Chinese CDMA products in India. At present, ZTE has gained strategic development margin in India, with the on-line load of mobile equipment exceeding 1 million lines.

Shandong Tietong building service platform for the passenger during Chinese-New-Year

  Before the Chinese New Year, Shandong Tietong (called called Shandong China Railway Communications Co., Ltd.) cooperated with Jinan Railway Bureau to build up a call center platform for the passengers. "95105688" (dedicated lien for national passenger-transportation information service), 95105865 (dedicated line for receiving complaint on passenger transportation) and "95105175" (dedicated line for providing information on local railway stations) were put into operation in some areas under the administration of Jinan Railway Bureau.

Business income of ADLINK increased by 36% in Jan.

  ADLINK (6166), the leading provider of CompactPCI/PXI technique (global high-end industrial computer) announced that its business income in January of 2005 has reached 100 million N.T., with a growth rate of 36%. The company performed quite well on European market, including France and Spain, especially in the telecom industry and traffic transport industry.
