Research: Huawei ranking the first on the global market of VoIP
media gateway
According to a research report released recently by the famous research
institute Dittberner Associates, Huawei ranked the first on the global
market of VoIP media gateway in 2004.
According to TechWeb, result of the research shows that Huawei occupied
a market share of 24.8% for VoIP media gateway and soft switch in the
last year, ranking the first in the world. Nortel Network ranked the second,
with a market share of 18.21%, closely followed by Sonus, UT Starcom and
SIEMENS.
The research result shows that in 2004, there were more and more network
operators starting to upgrade the current fixed network.

of the out-calling system of the call center of Shanghai New Epoch. It

OKI Ctstage ranking the first on Japanese call center market for consecutive
3 years
OKI Software Technology Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu) announced recently that OKI
Ctstage has ranked the first on the Japanese market for consecutive three
years. This news is based on the latest market research report on the
call center market of Japan in 2005, released by Japanese YANO Economy
Research Institute.
To make this annual research report on the actual situation of the call
centers and customer contact centers in 2005 and the outlook, YANO Economy
Research Institute made a thorough research on the market share occupied
by the providers of call center system (PBX/ACD、UnPBX), and found that
ever since 2002, UnPBX call center system has been growing very quickly
and steadily to monopolize the market. After OKI gained the first position
with a market share of 31% based on the sales of OKI Ctstage in 2002,
it kept this leading position successfully with a market share of 38%
in Japan. Meanwhile, its share of the market of UnPBX call center has
always been quite high (95%, 92%, 92%).
Sales of OKI Ctstage and relevant services are undertaken by OKI Software
Technology. Considering the great success made on Japanese market, the
sales director of OKI Ctstage in China says that they will combined the
experience gained on the Japanese market with the local advantages of
OKI Software Technology to enhance the market promotion of OKI Ctstage
