Enterasys Networks and Lucent Technologies cooperating to improve the safety of VoIP service

With the popularity of IP telephone techniques, the demand for safer data-network based speech communications service is increasing day by day. Considering this, Enterasys Networks and Lucent Technologies cooperated to provide a packed service on last Wednesday to improve the safety of IP telephone service.

Enterasys Networks will sell the safety evaluation and consulting service (including VoIP-related safety evaluation) as developed by Bell Labs of Lucent Technologies. The two companies will also provide voice IP consulting service.

IBM to provide new technique

IBM plans to provide API (Application Program Interface) in the second half of this year. It is used for linking the instant message (IM) products of Lotus Sametime with other network telephone platform, mobile phone system and traditional office telephone system.

HXD09 adopted in the linked police system of Chengde Public Security Bureau of Hubei province

Ever since the construction of linked police system (110, 119 and 122) in the national public security system in 2003, HXD09 intelligent voice platform has been adopted in the linked police system in over 30 cities due to its high stability. This year, HXD09 intelligent voice platform will develop rapidly for the popularity of such linked police system. At the beginning of March, HXD09 intelligent voice platform was adopted for the construction of linked police system (110, 119 and 122) of Chengde Public Security Bureau of Hubei province.
