India determined to provide good environment for service out-contracting

India's premier software organizations says that it will help the government punish those employees who steal and sell customer's bank information illegally.

Kiran Karnik, chairman of the National Association of Software and Services Companies of India (NASSCOM) says that India is a "trustworthy" destination for out-contracting, and there shall be no stealing and illegal selling of data in the call center as reported by British newspaper. He says that they had noticed an investigation report released on British newspaper The Sun, which says that the working staffs of Indian call center sell the customer's bank information illegally.
Indian government made strict regulations in 2000 for supervision purpose: anyone who steal and sell data illegally will be jailed for 2 to 5 years.
