Number of world VoIP subscribers exceeding 11 million---Yahoo Japan claiming 4.5 million users

According to the market research company Point Topic, by March 2005 there are over 11 million people in the world using retailed VoIP service.
Joan, analyst of Point Topi, said "the number will be nearly 17.5 million if we count soft customer like Skype and VoiceGlo into it".

France is the most important market in Europe. By the end of the first quarter of 2005, there are over 1.2 million users using retaled VoIP service in France. In spite of this, Japan is still the largest market. Yahoo Japan Ranks the first, with over 4.5 million subscribers. It is followed by Yahoo America, who has 2.1 million subscribers.

Concerto Software merging with ASPECT

Westford of Massachusetts, SAN JOSE of California, July 5 of 2005--Concerto Software and Aspect (Nasdaq: ASPT) announced today that they have reached an agreement on merging.

According to the agreement, the shareholder of Aspect will gain an income of 11.6 USD per common share, an increase of 15% than the average value in the last 30 trading days. Shareholders who hold preferred stock B will gain equal income per share. Considering the total capital stock, the common stock option and the preferred stock B issued on July 4 of 2005, the trade value will amount to about 1 billion USD.
