Skype VoWi-Fi service started in 36 countries
Skype and Boingo announced to work with each other to provide voice technique
based on Wi-Fi, so that the users can get access to the VoIP service at
18000 Wi-Fi "hot points". Kelly, speaker of Skype says that
with such techniques the users can make international phone call at a
low price by using the Wi-Fi network at Coffee, bookstore, hotel and other
public places. This service is called as Skype Zones.
Skype is a company located in Luxemburg who provides free Internet phone
call service and low-cost IP telephone service (on fixed network or mobile
network) for the customers. VoIP has been developing rapidly and until
June 22 of this year, there have been 43 million users, with a daily amount
of 140,000 users.
Headcall providing webpage-based VoIP service
Headcall has provided a kind of web-based VoIP call label, which can
be added to the web pages of individuals or enterprises. By this means
the customers who browse the web pages can have an online video communication
with the owner of the label (individual or enterprise) by clicking the
label button. Neither the customers nor the enterprises need to worry

Global sales of HUAWEI reaching 2.47 billion USD
In the first half of 2005, Huawei's global sales amounted to 33 billion
RMB, an increase of 85% than that of the last year. Overseas sales in
the first half year reached 2.47 billion USD, that accounts for 62% of
the total sales value, and is more than the sales on the global market
in 2004. Huawei has appeared on the short list of "21th Century Network"
as selected by British Telecom.
