Concerto acquiring Aspect at a price of 1 billion USD

On July 5 of 2005, Concerto and Aspect announced that they had reached an agreement of merging. The dealing valued at 1 billion USD, and has been approved by the board of Aspect. It is anticipated that the merging will be completed in September of 2005. After that, Aspect will not be a listed company any more, and stockholders of the new company include Concerto's investor, Golden Gate Capital, Oak investor and the managing personnel of Concerto. President & CEO of the new company is James Foy, the president and CEO of Concerto.

Aspect is a world famous call center solutions provider. It has 20 years of working experience, providing solutions to 2/3 of the top 50 enterprises selected by Fortune. After acquiring Aspect, Concerto will be the world largest provider of call center products and services. Total sales value of the two companies amounted to 600 million USD in 2004, with 1.15 million positions all over the world.
