China Telecom adopting AlcaTel Shanghai Bell's IP solution
AlcaTel Shanghai Bell co., Ltd announced recently that Hubei Telecom,
a branch of China Telecom has chosen AlcaTel Shanghai Bell's IP router
solution for the expansion and optimization of its LAN to provide high-quality
IP data service for the users in Hubei province.
At present, major operators, including China Telecom, China Unicome, China
Netcom and China Mobile, have all chosen AlcaTel 7750 router for network
optimization to provide hgih-quality data, voice and video service. Take
China Telecom as an example, the company has deployed AlcaTel 7750 router
in 11 provinces of China, including Xinjiang, Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia,
Shanxi, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hubei, Sichuan and Guizhou.
NEC providing customer service center system to OMRON (China)
Recently, NEC provided a customer service center system to the new office
of OMRON (China) in Shanghai.
OMRON set a goal of increasing its business in China by four times in
4 years from 2003. During this four years, customer service center becomes
more and more important to the company. For this reason, the company adopted
NEC's customer service center system to improve the customer satisifaction
index and working efficiency.
IDC: CRM market growing again
According to the latest research report made by IDC, the CRM market
begun to grow again in 2004 at a rate of 8% with a total income of 8.8
billion USD. In the depression period at the beginning of 21st century,
the customers have formed a standard for procurement. Therefore, the CRM
projects can be implemented as soon as the money can flow again. It is
found in the research that the enterprises are still eager to implement
CRM projects in 2005.
Siebel, Oracle and SAP occupy the first three positions in CRM applications.
In 2004 the market leader Siebel had a market share of 10.7%, while Oracle,
after acquring PeopleSoft, took the second position. North America is
the No.1 market for CRM applications, accounting for 60.3% of the total
income in 2004, whle the west Europe maket accounting for 28.8%.
