Huwei entering Maldives market with 2G/3G core network system
Recently, Huawei signed a contract with Wataniya Telecom ("Wataniya"),
one of the leading transnational telecom operators in Mid East and North
Africa, in Maldives. They announced that the contract was a commercial
one, according to which Huawei will contrust a 2G/3G core network system
and business platforms for Wataniya in Maldives. The project includes
3G network access equipment that covers most of the key islands of Maldives.
This is the first time Huawei enters Maldives market.
TeleSynergy constructing IP call center for Morning Newspaper of Liberation
Daily
Recently, TeleSynergy cooperated with Shanghai SYNERGISM Communication
Technology Company to provide IP hotline "800-8190000" for Morning
Newspaper of Liberation Daily.
Zhejiang Telecom providing innovative "114" services
To provide customized service, enrich the functions of "114",
and enhance the transition of "114", the branches of Zhejiang
Telecom begun to provide innovative services, such as "114 SM",
"114 advertising service", etc.
SBC signing contract withNCE for VoIP custody
SBC announced it has signed a 5-year-long contract with NCE for the custody
of voice and data network business. Value of the contract is not declared
yet, but according to SBC, it will provide NCE with SBC PremierSERV Hosted
IP Communication Service (HIPCS).
SBC PremierSERV HIPCS will serve as the call center management system
of NCE, and enable the staffs of NCE to enjoy the VoIP service from any
access point to Internet, local or not.
SBC met the increasing demand of NCE for improving the call center management
system by providing advanced telecom tools.
