Telefónica Germany starting international VOIP service

iBasis, provider of international long-distance telephone service, VoIP service and pre-paid card service, announced today that Telefonica (Germany) will use iBasis' network to provide VoIP service for its customers, including individuals and enterprises. With iBasis's DirectVoIP service, Telefonica Germany can provide international IP telephone service without spending much on reconstructing the existing network. Telefonica says that the reason they chose iBasis lies in the safety and reliability.

State Administration of Foreign Exchange (P.R.C.) cooperating with Shanghai Electric Port Call Center

Shanghai Electric Port Call Center and State Administration of Foreign Exchange (P.R.C.) have connected their network together to share the resources and improve the service quality and working efficiency.
It is known that through the electric port call center, Shanghai branch of the State Administrationof Foreign Exchange and Shanghai Electric Port Data Center can integrate the existing resources to provide the customers with more convenience.

IP PBX increasing rapidly

ccording to the report made by In-Stat, with the rapid increase of IP lines, IP PBX has been maturing. Although the whole PBX market will be increasing at a compound annual growth rate of 6.6% to 2009, the traditional one is dropping.

From the present to 2009, IP PBX based on servers will increase from 9.5 million lines to 28.10 lines, and by 2009 IP PBX will account for over 91% of the total PBX market.
