Avaya cooperating with Intel to improve the quality of mobile telecom

Avaya, the world leading provider of enterprise telecom software, system and services, announced recently that it would cooperate with Intel to improve the quality of voice transmitted through the wireless network. Avaya will optimize the SIP-based Softphone for the users of laptop computers based on next genration of Intel Centrino technology. The two companies will also work together to improve the quality of the blueteeth equipment connected to Softphone.

Ai-Logix cooperating with ICG to develop voice recording system in Taiwan

Since signing the contract with Integrated Communications Group (ICG) at the beginning of this year, Ai-Logix has started channel distribution in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South-east Asia.

With the headquarter located in Hong Kong, ICG is a company engaged in the integration of computer telephone system and application of telephone signal transmission, VoIP, voice recognition, Test-to-Speech, etc. It mainly serves users in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South east Asia.

Through the joint efforts of ICG and Ai-Logix, more and more Taiwan companies have developed powerful and reliable voice recording system on the basis of Ai-Logix SmartWORKS platform to meet the goal of promoting Starter Kits in Taiwan, China.

Skype signing contract with mobile phone operator to provide IP telephone service

Skype, a network telephone software provider, has signed the first contract with E-plus German mobile phone operator.

Skype will provide low-cost IP telephone service to E-Plus in the next month. E-Plus is the third largest mobile phone operators in Germany who has 9.8 million users. Skype says that it will also cooprate with mobile phone manufacturers, including Motorola, to provide network telephone service based on mobile phone.

Google said last week that it intended to become a network telephone operator. It released a test version of GoogleTalk, a program that combined IP telephone and IM tools.
