Alcatel Shanghai Bell got a big order for NGN

Alcatel Shanghai Bell says at the 2005 China International Communication Exhibition that it has made a big deal with a major fixed network operator in China for the evolution of the network towards NGN.

Alcatel Shanghai Bell says that this order is the biggest order in the domestic NGN market, and is also the biggest one in domestic telecom market. It means that China operators has begun to step toward NGN, that covers the nationwide network.

It is said that the evolution of the backbone network will be completed in a few months.
