ChannelSoft and Intel will cooperate in the field of telecom VAS

Today, at the PT./EXPO COMM China 2005, Intel and Channelsoft (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. held a press conference concerning the strategic cooperation for VAS. The two companies made a thorough discussion on the development of VAS. Before this, Lai Yilong, general manager of Intel (China) and Kong Weidong, former president of Channelsoft (Beijing) Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation.

Aculab announced to support Digium's Asterisk professional edition

On Oct. 12 of 2005, Aculab announced in America that it would support Digium's Asterisk (professional edition) with the media processing resource card Prosody PCI. According to the agreement made between the two sides, Prosody PCI will continue to support Asterisk professional edition that is based on Digium testing kit.

Digium is the creator of Asterisk and a leader in terms of source code open voice integration. According to the inter-operation plan of Digium, Prosody PCI is now being verified so that the media processing functions it supports can be combined perfectly with Asterisk professional edition.
