IM service becoming more and more popular among
the youngsters
According to the result of a new research, IM service is becoming more
and more popular in the youngsters. Most of them send more instant messages
than e-mails.
In a research on IM required by AOL, 66% of the young people of 13-21
years old say that they are sending more instant messages than E-mails,
while in the last year only 49% of them said so. In general, 38% of the
users say that the instant messages they sent is no less than the E-mails
they sent.
A quarter of the users hope that there are some entertainment elements
in the instant messages, and 20% of them are looking forward to make phone
calls through IM service. At present, 33% of the users send at least one
IM message a week, and 12% of them say that they are interested in the
IM-based VoIP service.
AOL says that in America there are about 80 million users using IM service
often and it is more and more popular at working places. 58% of the employees
use it to communicate with the workmates, and 49% of the employees use
it to solve problems and make decisions. Some employees even communicate
with the clients in such a way to make the communication more easier.
Most of the employees (77%) say that such service has a positive influence
on their work, while 13% of them hold name cards with the IM pet name.
Microsoft CRM 3.0 to be released soon
Any customer may get the license for all the modules of Microsoft CRM3.0
by purchasing professional edition of Microsoft CRM software and related
user license. Deadline for this: Dec. Microsoft will release Microsoft
CRM 3.0 to the world in Dec of this year. This is an important upgrading
of the software ever since Microsoft CRM 1.0 was released in Jan. 2003.
In this new edition, Microsoft will provide CRM solution.
Accton cooperating with Skype to provide new products
Recently, Accton announced to provide Wi-Fi mobile phone of the latest
style--SkyFone WM1185-T, that has the function of VoIP. This means that
the users don't have to make the Internet-based phone calls in front of
the computers.
At present, the mobile phone is still under test. It is anticipated to
be released in the first quarter of 2006. The price will be about 150
USD, or even 100 USD if the cost is controlled well.
