HSBC Mexico winning Gartner CRM Excellence Award

Avaya and Symbol jointly providing enterprise-oriented mobile office solutions

Symbol Technologies Inc. and Avaya, the world leading provider of enterprise telecom products and services, announced recently to launch the mobile office solution jointly developed by them. The solution, integrating the software, system and equipment of the two companies, is very suitable for the retail, medical and manufacturing industry as well as other office places that need to combine mobile terminals, (mobile computer and scanner) with voice telecom equipment.

The solution integrates Symbol's advanced data collection function, mobile calculation platform and wireless framework with Avaya's IP voice telecom software and mobile customer terminal applications. It also combines Symbol's MC50 EDA, WS5100 wireless switch, AP300 access point with Avaya IP soft telephone that is based on Avaya Communication Manager.
