IDC releasing forecasts on telecom industry in the Asia-pacific region in 2006

According to foreign media, IDC released a report on Tuesday that gives forecasts on the telecom industry in the Asia-pacific region. IDC says in the report that in 2006 the telecom industry in this region will experience a great change, and the rules will be reset.
IDC points out that in 2005 the value of the telecom market in Asia-pacific region (except for Japan) was about 160 billion U.S dollar. It forecasts that in 2006 the market value will be as high as 170 billion U.S. dollar, an increase of 6%. IDC believes that VoIP, broadband, IP service and 3G service will be the major forces that enhance the growth of telecom services. Moreover, it says that in 2005 the market value of telecom equipment in this region has reached 36,500,000,000 U.S. dollar, and will reach 39,00,000,000 U.S. dollar in 2006
Followings are the ten forecasts made by IDC on the telecom industry in the Asia-pacific region in 2006:
1. The operators will re-access the VoIP marketing strategies.
2. Face the challenge that Triple play will be restricted;
3. VPLS service becomes popular, and will take the place of Frame Relay and IP-VPN;
4. With the maturing of market, there will be shared licensing framework.
5. Multi-player mobile phone network games will be available;
6. Anti-virus demand will be increasing;
7. Telephone service company will beat management service company;
8. IP telephone with enhanced mobility will start the challenge;
9. Charging-high and bundling service without new music ideas will kill music downloading service.
10. Mobile commercie (mCommerce)get restarted

RightNow's customer NCsoft awarded by Beagle Research

RightNow announced that Ncsoft, the famous interactive game producer (North America) who uses RightNow system, was granted annual CRM award by Beagle Research. The company uses the system to improve the working efficiency, customer satisfaction index and reduce the cost. Beagle Research granted such an award to encourage those who adopt the latest technologies and bring a significant influence on the CRM market.
Except for this, RightNow has got such annual customer service award, as granted by the magazine Customer Interaction, for consecutive six years, and the award of "outstanding CRM provider"by CRMguru.com.

IBM's IM system to be connected with AOL and Google

This Monday (local time), IBM declared that its customers will soon be able to communicate with IM (instant message) users of AOL, Yahoo and Google. At present, many large enterprises have adopted IMB's reliable IM system. However, Microsoft, the biggest competitor of IBM in this field, lost this change.
