AIG-Huatai Opening Customer Service Hotline
At the beginning of the new year, AIG-Huatai Fund Management Co., Ltd.
("AIG-Huatai") opened the customer service line "400--888-0001".
This is one of the key measures taken by it to improve the customer service
system in 2006.
ZTE constructing China's largest SP voice access platform
ZTE, the world leading telecom products manufacturer, and also a listed
company, announced that the Anyservice VAS solution was adopted by the
Headquarter of China Unicom for the voice access platform. After that,
the access capability of the platform will be increased to 1500E1. It
is the largest SP access platform in China up until now.
Now, ZTE's Anyservice telecom VAS solutions include intelligent network,
short message, coloring, 3G, call center, comprehensive business management
platform, etc, and is applied by over 50 operators on many kinds of networks
in over 40 countries (such as GSM, CDMA, PHS, PSTN, 3G and NGN)
Avaya releasing business income report in the first quarter of 2006
Avaya (NYSE: AV), the world leading provider of enterprise telecom products
sand services, announced today that it earned a profit of 71,000,000 U.S.
dollars in the first quarter of 2006 (a diluted earning per share: 15
cents). It earned 33,000,000 U.S. dollars (diluted earning per share:
7 cents) in the same period of the last year.
Sales income in this quarter is 12,490,000,000 U.S. dollars, an increase
of 8.8% than that of the same period in the last year. Achievements in
this quarter include that of Tenovis, after the acquisition. According
to Avaya, sales income from GCS (Global Communications System) increased
by 11.7% and that from AGS (Avaya Global Services) increased by 5.8% than
that of the last year.
Avaya got 106,000,000 U.S. dollars in cash in the first quarter, and now
it holds a total of 726,000,000 U.S. dollars in cash.
