Nortel and Huawei establish joint venture to develop broadband access service

Nortel and Huawei announced today to sign a MoU. According to the MoU, the two sides will establish a joint venture to develop super broadband access solution. Meanwhile, the two sides signed another contract of supply that allows Nortel to use Huawei's broadband access products to serve the customers.

RightNow listed in Forrester's research report

Bozeman, Montana (Jan. 31, 2006): RightNow (Nasdaq: RNOW), the famous CRM service provider, was appraised as a "leading e-mail service provider" by Forrester. RightNow was the only CRM service provider listed in the report due to its achievements in the income from E-mail service, marketing performance and business strategies. RightNow Marketing was honored as "The best multi-channel solution".

Korea's mobile banking business doubled in 2005

According to the data released by Bank of Korea, with the increase in the number of people applying for mobile banking service, the mobile banking business done in Korea was twice as much as the year before.
The data shows that daily mobile banking business in 2005 was increased by 104.4% than that in the year before (2004).
The bank says that the business has been growing very rapidly since the cooperation with Korean mobile telecom service providers, including SK, KTF, LG, from Sept. 2003. By the end of 2005, the number of registered subscribers of mobile banking service has been 1,900,000, an increase of 108% than the last year.
Besides, online banking in 2005 also increased by 21.5% than that in the year before (2004), with 11,100,000 deals done daily, an increase of 10.2%.
