YAHOO cooperating with SIEMENS to provide VOIP service through SIEMENS
wireless telephone
Recently, Yahoo signed a cooperation contract with SIEMENS. According
to the contract, it is allowed to make computer-to-computer phone calls
(free of charges) with Gigaset, wireless telephone provided by SIEMENS.
It is also allowed to make phone calls to fixed telephone and mobile phones
at a lower cost.
Siemens Home and Office Communications Devices, a wholly-owned subsidiary
of SIEMENS plans to provide Gigaset M34 USB adaptor in the third quarter
this year so that the users may enjoy voice communications on Yahoo Messenger
with Gigaset wireless telephone.
Yahoo and other network companies are developing VOIP service now (some
of them have started providing such service). According to the contract,
Gigaset users can make phone calls through Yahoo Messenger. This is the
latest cooperation between Yahoo and mobile phone manufacturers.

solutions to Beijing Construction Bank.
The existing center "95533" of Beijing Construction Bank has

business license for VOIP will probably be issued in June this year. Now
the relevant authority of the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) has
started the approving procedures. MII didn't make any response on this.
