BT Germany providing new platform for the distributors and operators
for the sales of VoIP services
BT Germany announced recently at CeBIT that it would build a new sales
platform for VoIP services. The platform"BT Wholesale VoIP"
will enable the distributors, Internet service providers and cable TV
operators to provide more attractive VoIP services to the customers.
BT's solution allows to distribute telephone numbers to the VoIP users
through local network or traditional telephone network., to allocate the
VoIP calls on fixed or mobile network. This makes the distributors don't
need to get the gateway onto PSTN any longer. Since BT still needs to
solve the routers-related problems for emergency calls, it provides positioning
services to the users who get access to the Internet in nontraditional
way, such as through cable TV.
