Skype investing 27,000,000 USD to acquire Sonorit

April 12, according to foreign radio, eBay's Skype department announced on Tuesday that it has agreed to invest 27,000,000 USD to acquire Sonorit, a company engaged in voice processing business.
eBay will issue 700,000 stocks to acquire Sonorit and the subordinating Camino. The company is located in San. Francisco. Skype says that it wants to acquire the technical team of this company, which will help Skype developing new voice products.

Callray Communications expanding the capacity of the call center of HICHINA

April 1, 2006, Callray Communications announced that it has finished the capacity expansion of the call center of HICHINA (www.net.cn). This is a new cooperation between the two sides after Callray Communications reconstructing the telephone recording system for HICHINA in August 2004.
Established in 1996, HICHINA is the largest domain name registrar in China, and the first company opening free-of-charge hotline(800-8100220)in the country. Up until now, it has registered about 600,000 domain names for clients all over the country. Now facing fiercer competition on the market, HICHINA decided to expand the capacity of the existing call center and add new functions.

AsiaInfo building CRM platform for Shanghai Unicom

April 13: Asiainfo (Nasdaq: ASIA) announced that it would construct a customer management platform for Shanghai Unicom.
According to Asiainfo, this CRM platform is an important part of the CRM system of Shanghai Unicom, which will greatly improve the management level of the latter (pre-sales, sales, after-sales).
