ADLINK hit the highest record ever
Business income reaching 220,000,000N.T in March, and 540,000,000 N.T. in the first quarter

April 18 of 2006, ADLINK, the world famous industrial computer manufacturer, announced that the business income in March of 2006 amounted to over 220,000,000 N.T, an increase of 92% than that of the last year. The accumulated income from Jan. to March amounted to 540,000,000 N.T., an increase of 80% than that in the first quarter of last year. This has been the highest record made by ADLINK ever.


Global and Sprint developing local and global market for VoIP business

Global Crossing and Sprint Nextel disclosed their VoIP business plan for local and global market. Both of them will invest more in market promotion for VoIP business.
Global Crossing plans to expand the service to at least 12 countries in EU, while Sprint Nextel says that it will cooperate with three cable operators to enhance the development of VoIP business.

UPC adopting Nortel's VOIP solution

UPC broadband, a company subordinate to Liberty, a world cable TV provider, is now adopting Nortel VoIP solution to provide telephone service to cable TV users in Austria, France and Holland. UPC broadband network is now covering 11,000,000 families in west Europe. Adopting Nortel's VoIP solution is a very important step taken by UPC in integrating the three networks. UPC is now the only cable TV broadband operator that adopts SIP-based VoIP solution. SIP laid a solid foundation for UPC to develop media-related services of more varieties. UPC says that Nortel's solution provide a great support to the next generation of IMS-based business. Liberty announced today that UPC has over 1000,000 telephone users in west Europe, covering Holland, Hungary, France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland,Romania, etc.
