On July 6 at the 17th Session of the Third Generation of the International Mobile Telecommunication Forum, China Unicom Technical Department General Manager Dr. Zhang Zhijiang stated that a unified network with abundant operations is the telecom operator's long-range goal and that constructing a total-IP IMS network is immensely key in achieving this goal.
