China Unicom Raises SP Share by 5% - Independent Wireless Application Protocol (WAP)

On May 17th, China Unicom adjusted the share of SP from 2:8 to 15:85; this assumes that SP will generate enough operational revenue to constitute 5% of overall revenue. As China Unicom’s Value-Added Operations General Manager Tong Xiaoyu notes, this strategy is meant to help SP develop and build a favorable environment for industrial cooperation.
