TD Mobile TV Standard TDBM
is to Be Launched by the End of the Year Put into Commercial Use
in 2008

While many concerning parties are scrambling
for the mobile TV state standard, the mobile TV standard TDBM of
China¡¯s 3G standard TD-SCDMA has been formed without notice.
According to the information recently acquired by the ¡°First Financial
Daily¡±from insiders of Datang Mobile, for the TDBM Mobile TV Standard
guided by the MII and drafted by several members of TD Industry
Alliance such as Datang Mobile, ZTE Communications, SPREADTRUM,
Commit, PUTIAN, and TD Tech, the preliminary research work was completed
in 2006, the standardization work was started in this March in CCSA,
and the Test Technical Standard formed by the end of April.
