Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co., Ltd. Help China Unicom Develop New Fusion Mobile Service

Alcatel Shanghai Bell Co., Ltd. announced that China Unicom had chosen its intelligent service gateway to support the establishment of China Unicom’s integrated added-value service platform. As the first integrated added-value service platform in China, this deployment will enable the operators to develop new multimedia and voice application services for the customers. The Alcatel-Lucent solution will enable China Unicom to provide innovative customized collective services, such as streaming media, Java/Brew application, multimedia information and WAP browse.
