Aculab to preview a true cloud-based telephony platform at ITEXPO

Aculab, a leading provider of enabling technology for the global communications market, will preview its cloud-based telephony development platform at the ITEXPO Conference, scheduled for February 2nd-4th at the Miami Beach Convention Center. As part of the preview, Aculab will showcase Aculab Cloud, which provides application developers and service providers with a true cloud-based media processing and communications infrastructure that enables a shorter and less expensive time-to-market for existing and emerging telephony-based services.

“Aculab Cloud is a robust, scalable and cost-effective platform that helps providers overcome a number of barriers, such as escalating costs, long development cycles, and increasingly complicated end user requirements,” said Faye McClenahan, Aculab’s Head of Strategic Marketing. “We feel that ITEXPO provides us with the perfect venue to introduce this exciting new offering.”

According to McClenahan, Aculab Cloud builds on Aculab’s heritage in the telephony market and presents another deployment option for its award winning media processing resources. “It enables developers, with a goal of creating and deploying cloud-based systems, to rapidly and efficiently do so on a low cost, pay-as-you-go basis, using popular programming languages such as Python and C#.” McClenahan added that developer accounts are free and Aculab is currently inviting developers to trial the Aculab Cloud beta release, which will go live on 2nd February.
