IEX announced general availability of its TotalNet Version 4 call routing product. Version 4 enhances the functionality of traditional automated call distribution (ACD) systems enabling intelligent, rules-based routing of incoming calls as they are delivered by the network. TotalNet combines multiple center locations, even those utilizing different network carriers and ACD manufacturers, into a virtual contact center.
